I want to give Lisa Pacello and A Fresh Look Design an excellent, 5-star review. I have only had the chance to work with a few designers in the past. Like most of us, we tend to go with what we know. When we first purchased our house, we had attempted to add design details as we went along finding that we had created a hodge-podge of themes that just did not tie together. Next, we brought in a friend who claimed to be a designer. Nice try and definitely an improvement but not even close. Lisa came to us through our realtor to stage the house and WOW, were we impressed!
Let me give you several things to consider:
- I wanted to make sure that our house sold quickly and at the greatest possible value (see Results below). We had lived there for 15 years and it was (we thought) our last home. While we had used designers in the past to help take it from house to home, we had no idea what was possible.
- Lisa quickly developed a clear picture of how to make the house look it’s best. Our other attempts at interior design were terribly archaic, our furniture overpowered the rooms, the colors we used outdated and the décor added to the impact of essentially not knowing what we were doing.
- Within a few hours and using her own design pieces, the place was completely upgraded and fresh. I could hardly believe it was the same house. It looked like one of those homes you see on HGTV. We had a fresh look, it was roomy, colorful and ready to go to market.
- Results Count! Here’s the good news. The house sold in 2 days. We had 10 written offers at the end of the second day. ALL WERE SUBSTANTIALLY OVER OUR ASKING PRICE… now, those are results!
Bottom-line; Lisa is the person you want to use whether it’s for staging, a household refresh or a complete make-over. She’s a great coach, patient and a lot of fun to be around. I don’t know many people who love their job but Lisa sure does.
